Trees
35mm film project. Each of these images was shot in a parking lot. This project was inspired by images I used to take as a teenager. I'd constantly be looking up at the sky and shooting; it was my workflow. I noticed that while walking to class, I'm often looking down at my phone. But if my phone is unavailable to me- I'll shift my gaze upward, and admire how the sun shines through the leaves and branches of the trees around me. I found it interesting how you could, in a sense, ignore the more unattractive scenery around you by looking up towards the sky. With this philosophy, even a Walmart parking lot can be beautiful.
