My name is Sarah Valenzuela, I'm from a small city in South Texas called Victoria. I am a documentary, portrait, and fine art photographer. I'm currently living in Austin, Texas doing production work, and freelance photography. I graduated from St. Edward's University with a BA in Photocommunications. 

My love for photography came about when I was young. Like most, I photographed flowers and trees and animals, pretty much anything that existed in my front yard. As I grew, I found that I had not only a love of documenting my family and it's growth, but an obligation to do so. This prompted me to explore many areas of photography, and this familial bond has continued to influence my work. The most important thing about a photograph is the story is conveys.
